DEINspeisesalon in Cologne's Ehrenfeld district has been an integral part of the event scene since 2015. The location in the Kontrastwerk boasts a big-city atmosphere: high ceilings, light-flooded rooms, striking brick walls and a stylish mix of wood, steel, concrete and glass make up the special charm of this venue.

Flexible rooms for events of all kinds

The 275 m² indoor area is divided into an event room (185 m²), welcome area (47 m²) and buffet area (43 m²) and can accommodate up to 180 people depending on the seating arrangement. This makes the DEINspeisesalon suitable for business events, conferences and network meetings as well as for celebrations, dinners and private occasions. The 600 m² outdoor area with terrace is also ideal for aperitifs, sundowners or networking in the open air - a real highlight in the heart of Cologne-Ehrenfeld.

The location is barrier-free, has ventilation and the generous glass fronts create a wonderful interplay with daylight.

Technical equipment for professional events

Wi-Fi is available throughout the building via NetCologne's fiber optic network. A convenient login is possible via the QR code provided. The event room has an electric roller screen that can be lowered with a switch. The screen has a 16:9 format and a screen size of 300 cm x height 179 cm wide. There is also a ceiling-mounted, daylight-compatible projector (7,000 lumens). This can project onto the screen in Full HD (1920x1080). An HDMI connection for customers' own notebooks, including a corresponding HDMI connection cable, is available in the location.

Our location has a sound system designed for high speech intelligibility and even sound distribution. The acoustic localization starts from a speaker's position in front of the window to the terrace and from there via 4 speakers towards the entrance. In the case of music playback (DJ or band), it is highly recommended that our system is supplemented by a powerful sound system with bass speakers (by the DJ/band or by external technical service providers).

A wireless handheld microphone is available as a feed for the installed sound system. There is a small mixer in the room with a 3.5 mm mini-jack cable (headphone connection) and a Bluetooth receiver to play background music. Alternatively, there is a connection option near the screen for a DJ / band (mono XLR) or a notebook (3.5 mm mini jack cable). A connection cable is available. Two additional speakers are installed in each of the two adjoining rooms to transmit the sound from the event room at individual volumes if required. This is also controlled via the small mixing console in the event room.
