KOMED im MediaPark

Central location, excellent infrastructure, exciting architecture, and ample space for your event: In two buildings, we offer high-quality event areas equipped with the latest technology, covering a total area of 2,300 square meters.

Located in the MediaPark in the heart of Cologne, KOMED offers multifunctional event spaces in two award-winning modern buildings situated right next to each other. With state-of-the-art event technology and our comprehensive, flexible service offerings, you will find the perfect setting for your meetings, conferences, symposiums, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, cultural events, and many other types of gatherings.

About the rooms:

KOMED-Saal: approx. 300 m², ceiling height 5.90 m, screen 6 x 4 m, air conditioning, floor-to-ceiling windows, view of the green belt, can be fully darkened. Upstream hall foyer: 280 m², atrium up to 27 m high.

Eleven further event rooms, variable room sizes from 40 to 222 m². Further foyers: approx. 1,000 m² on 3 levels connected by open staircases and a shared window front.

Gastronomy and Hospitality

At KOMED, there is no obligation to use a specific caterer. We are happy to recommend caterers we frequently collaborate with, who are familiar with our facilities and can meet your needs.

If desired, we can offer complete catering for your event in partnership with a catering provider, tailored to your specifications based on individual per-person packages.

Should you only require refreshments for a meeting of up to approximately 40 people, we can provide Nespresso coffee machines with capsules, along with tea and mineral water, either in or outside the meeting room.

If you are planning an event at KOMED without catering, your participants will find a variety of restaurants and cafés in the MediaPark for refreshments during breaks or after the event, many of which offer outdoor seating. We would be delighted to recommend a suitable venue for any pre-event gatherings or subsequent dinners, whether for larger or smaller groups.
