Deutscher Kongress für Versorgungsforschung
The 25th German Congress on Health Services Research (DKVF) will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026 at Cologne University Hospital. This year’s congress theme, ‘People. Relationships. Organisations. 25 Years of Collaborative Health Services Research’ has been deliberately chosen to be ambiguous: it stands for patients, healthcare professions and healthcare structures, as well as for the collaboration within a vibrant, committed community that has been shaping health services research together for 25 years. The highlights of this year’s programme are:
The 25th Congress marks a milestone. The first German Congress on Health Services Research took place in 2002, also in Cologne – now the DKVF is returning to the place where it all perhaps began
- Scientific programme including plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, a science slam, etc.
- Congress day for members of the public and patients
- Photo exhibition featuring images of people, relationships and organisations – from the perspective of patients, those affected, clients, relatives, as well as carers and healthcare researchers.
- Pre-conference workshops
