Close enough to touch the stars. With KölnTourismus, you and your guests can discover the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) exclusively. This is located on the grounds of the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne-Wahnheide. Among other things, the European Astronaut Corps trains at the EAC for space missions, mainly on the International Space Station (ISS). The tour, which is available in German or English, includes a talk in the cinema and a visit to the training hall, the heart of the European Astronaut Centre. Afterwards, visitors can ask questions about the work at the EAC, astronaut training and space travel in general. Photography is expressly permitted.
Guided tours are available on request from Monday to Friday from 17:00 - 19:00 only and all day at weekends.
For organisational reasons, public appointments for individuals cannot be offered.
